2 aldor - they are comparable - and you have just compared them. Love and Sex can live together or without each other. But, as they sing in the old song "...you can't have one, you can't have none..." - one always needs both. So I vote for sex, as it deserves a vote just as love does ;). Or the author could think of "making love" as of sexual intercourse as well, but with the romantic feeling, wich we call love...? If yes, "making love" is the ultimate leader, but that's common sence and is beyoud competition.

Only thru comparison does one learn difference. Thus if you say that you can't compare these
things you commite logical fallacy. How can you say that you can't compare these two, if you haven't learned each, and how could you learn difference that can't be compared, if you haven't compared them already in your mind? Making love = having sex + having some feelings to the subject of the intercourse, that people call love.

I agree with Sabrina. Man is a mixed being, made up of a spiritual soul and of a fleshly body. Sex without love is just fleshly instinct satisfaction but it's not complete and your soul is empty.

Here is one comparison as i see it: While having sex, one mostly tends to gain maximum pleaseure, while when making love Two tend tp GOVE as much pleaseure as they can.
This is something that makes both similiar and something that makes both different at the same time.
GOVE = GIVE
Sex is a part of making love so why settle for the minimum when you can "have it all"!
